Kizhi in Ayurveda
Kizhi in ayurveda involves the use of herbal poultices to treat various ailments and promote overall health. These bundles are heated and applied to the body in a specific manner to relieve pain, improve circulation, and rejuvenate the body.
Origin of Kizhi in Ayurveda
Kizhi has its roots in Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of medicine that emphasizes balance between the body, mind, and spirit. This therapy is grounded in the principles of detoxification and rejuvenation, aiming to restore the natural harmony of the body. Kizhi is particularly effective in balancing the doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—thereby promoting holistic well-being.
