Procedure
- The Kati Vasti procedure begins with the patient lying face down on a specialized treatment table or mattress. A dough ring is then created around the affected area of the lower back using a paste made from black gram flour or other suitable materials.
- The dough ring is carefully molded to form a reservoir-like structure, ensuring it securely encloses the lower back region.
- Warm medicated oil is then poured into the reservoir and allowed to penetrate the tissues of the lower back for a specified duration, typically ranging from 20 to 45 minutes.
- During this time, the patient may receive gentle massage or other therapeutic techniques to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment and promote relaxation
